Clear Audio
In the cabin of my small sailboat it’s very clear, easy to use and awesome capabilities. I use multiple different scanning features, the automated digital radio check, and Weather Alert. I chose this brand over my original first choice because of the additional digital features of Bluetooth capability. Connected to my existing antenna and an SWR reading of 1.15, reception performance has been excellent. I don’t transmit very much but I do check to make sure my signal is clear. I was impressed enough to want to use it in the cockpit regularly, instead of my handheld, bought the UMRMIC and will install it this week. Like all marine products time will tell but with the main unit down below out of the UV and the remote only outdoors when underway, I am expecting long life. When you look at the price point, it’s is an exceptional value!
